Every City Skin Clinic treatment starts with an online consultation with a GMC-registered doctor. You can book a video call or complete a detailed consultation form, whichever suits you, and both lead to the same place. A doctor reviews your skin or hair, your medical history and your goals, then designs a treatment plan for you.

Form consultations are reviewed by a doctor within 24 hours, 365 days a year. Whichever route you choose, the outcome is the same. Your doctor emails you a detailed treatment protocol personalised to your needs, with the treatment(s) they recommend. The consultation costs £30 for either appointment type and is credited towards your first treatment if you choose to order it. There is no obligation and no subscription.
What Happens During Your Consultation?
Whether you do a video or form consultation, you will need to provide detailed information about your skin or hair concerns, goals and medical history. This is because the safest and most effective treatment depends on all three, and it is how your doctor decides not just which ingredients to recommend but at what strengths and in what routine. If anything needs clarifying, your doctor will ask you for further information.
What Happens After?
Your doctor stays with you. You can message them with questions at any point, and at the end of each course they review your progress and adjust your formula or protocol as your skin or hair responds. They can also advise on the rest of your routine, so the non-prescription products you already use work with your treatment rather than against it. You reorder only when you are ready. There are no subscriptions and nothing to cancel.

I would highly recommend City Skin Clinic. I have had a great experience with Dr Amel so far. She is extremely knowledgable and has explained my treatment plan in detail. I had a lot of questions initially and this was met with fast and in depth responses by Dr Amel. The ordering and delivery of the product is quick and easy and Dr Amel has remained in contact throughout my treatment to check progress. City Skin Clinic allows me to get tretinoin delivered when I am running out rather than a subscription basis. Not only that but I cannot praise their customer service enough. They have been so helpful in all skincare advice not just the tretinoin. The response times are incredible and I feel like a valued customer with a personalised advisor.
