It is the only dermal filler currently licensed for use in tear trough correction and posses a number of qualities that make it suitable for this purpose. Are there any side effects to using Teosyal Redensity II filler?
Teosyal Redensity II is the only filler licensed in the UK for use in tear trough correction. However, it is only safe and effective when it is delivered in a clinical setting by a qualified and experienced aesthetic doctor. Like anywhere on the face, injection of any type of filler or product carries the general risk of bruising, infection, lumps, asymmetry or even scarring. These risks can be greatly reduced by using the correct technique and the most appropriate high-quality filler for the area to be treated. Of course injection should always be by a skilled medical professional who is knowledgeable about the anatomy of the face. Incorrect placement of the filler, even if it is the right type of filler, can carry grave consequences. This includes infection or chronic inflammatory reactions. In the worst case scenarios it can get into blood vessels and cause skin death or even blindness. This is why it is always important to take your time when considering a treatment and also to ensure that you choose the right clinic and doctor.
How long does Teosyal Redensity II filler last?
In general, the amount of time dermal fillers last depend on the type of filler used, the location it is injected and how quickly your body breaks down the filler. Teosyal Redensity II is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler which lasts between 8-12 months. It breaks down gradually so it won’t suddenly disappear! It can, however, be dissolved more quickly using hyaluronidase enzyme if you dislike the result or have any complications.
What is the cost of tear trough correction with Teosyal Redensity II filler in London?
Aesthetic and dermal filler treatments are not really regulated in the UK and hence you can find a large number of places offering whereby the practitioner may not be a doctor or even have any medical background! As such, the cost varies hugely reflecting this variability in the expertise of the person conducting the treatment. Another place where providers cut costs is in the type of filler used so when considering treatment, check specifically what brand of filler they will use for the tear trough correction.
