Belotero Filler cityskinclinic

Belotero Range of Fillers

The Belotero filler range is a high-end family of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. These fillers have a unique tissue integration property which provide a smoother more natural looking and feeling result. As such we use them extensively in lip enhancement and facial volumising.

Belotero fillers are a brand of hyaluronic acid dermal filler produced by Merz Pharma. They are a premium brand of dermal fillers designed to integrate with the skin. What makes these fillers unique, is that they they possess Cohesive Polydensified Matrix® (CPM®) technology. This manufacturing process produces different densities of hyaluronic acid. Hence it creates a gradient in the product that mimics the natural structure of your tissues. So when injected the filler is able to replicate your natural tissue behaviour and better integrates with it. Ultimately it means that the filler will seamless mesh with your own tissues. This allows it to look and well feel natural.

There are a number of different dermal fillers in the this range each designed for a specific use. For instance, Belotero balance, Belotero intense and Belotero Volume are excellent for filling lines and wrinkles, deep folds and facial volumising respectively. On the other hand, Belotero soft is ideal for smoothing fine lines such as around the mouth (smokers' lines). In terms of the lips, Merz have produced two unique products. Belotero shape enhances the lip volume whilst Belotero contour restores the outline and definition of the lips.

What is the difference between Juvederm, Teosyal and Belotero?

Juvederm, Teosyal and Belotero are all premium brands of hyaluonic acid dermal filler created Allergan, Teoxane and Merz respectively. Juvederm is the oldest and most established brand of hyaluronic acid filler. The Juvederm range contains their original ULTRA brand as well as their VYCROSS next generation fillers. The latteer includes VOLUMA, VOLBELLA, VOLIFT and now VOLUX.  The Teosyal range of hyaluronic acid fillers includes Teosyal redensity 2 (the only filler licensed for under eye treatment) and Resilient hyaluronic acid (RHA). The RHA fillers are specifically designed for use in mobile areas such as smokers' lines treatment. Belotero is billed as a unique integrative filler designed to mimic the tissues. As such, Belotero shape and contour are popular for use in the lips where the feel is as important as the look.

All these hyaluronic acid dermal fillers have their place in aesthetics. As such which filler is best for you depends on your needs and goals.

What is Belotero Filler most commonly used for?

Belotero filler contains a mixure of hyaluronic acid densities. This enables it to better incorporate into the skin. The key uses of this product are:

Are there any side effects associated with Belotero Filler?

This is a high quality dermal filler brand with an excellent reputation globally. However, to ensure safety you should always get treatment by an experienced medical professional. Remember, any type of dermal filler is an implant into your body. Hence inexpert filler injection can cause wounds, lumps, infections, scarring or get into blood vessels and cause blindness or tissue loss.

Its important to remember that even with a qualified and experienced doctor, there are still potential unwelcome effects. Although not as serious as those mentioned above, these are more common. Examples of this include bruising, swelling, redness, asymmetry or allergy.

How long do Belotero fillers last?

How long these fillers last will depend on the type used, where its injected and how quickly your body breaks it down.  Belotero Balance can last around 6 months. Belotero Soft and Intense can last upto 12 months. On the otherhand, Belotero Volume can last up to 18 months.

Since these are hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, they are all temporary. In addition, they can be dissolved sooner using the hyalase (or hyaluronidase) enzyme which breaks down hyaluronic acid. This is useful should there be an undesired outcome or you dislike the result.

What is the cost of Belotero treatment London?
